The Alchemy of Masculine and Feminine

A Premier Tensegrity® and Theater of Infinity® Workshop
Practices developed by Carlos Castaneda

In Chartres, France

Alchemy comes from al-chimiya, Arabic for “chemistry, ”related to Greek and Egyptian words for the essences of earth and plants. The precursor to modern chemistry and Western medicine, alchemy was concerned with the creation of healing elixirs, and the transmutation of “base” metals into gold. Alchemists believed that metal, as a product of the earth, was alive and conscious, and therefore on a quest for perfection that paralleled the effort to ‘perfect’ the human body and soul.

Tensegrity® & Theater of Infinity® Workshop

July 3 – 4, 2017

Dream-Walking Tour of Paris

For sages of ancient Mexico, and other wisdom traditions, we are ‘perfect’ or complete when we awaken and link body and soul, or physical being and energy being. From this state, we can perceive a vibratory awareness that permeates, the earth, metals, plants, humans, the entire universe.

Those sages found that in order to reach such a state of conscious connection, one must acknowledge that our physical being and energy being, or essence, have both male and female energy signatures. Further, one must bring those male and female aspects into cooperative interplay.

The Latin words “pater” (father) and “mater” (mother) illustrate this vital interaction: an abstract pattern leads to materialization, or manifestation of an intention, idea, or dream.

Exploring our social ideas of what it means to be a man or a woman allows us to embrace our essential feminine and masculine aspects. With these in cooperative interplay, the spark of inspiration and creativity ignites, and a shamanic or alchemical change takes place, in which we can transmute our being to embrace who we really are: navigators on a sea of awareness, creators working and playing in concert with infinity.

We will explore this question at this remarkable center of mystery and knowledge. The name of the town Chartres comes from the Carnut forest, a very ancient Druid gathering place. Over the centuries, on this magnetic spot, the dolmen and the tall trees allowing sunlight to shine through were transformed into a sacred geometry of spirals, arches, and buttresses, with sun, moon and starlight spilling through stained glass windows. Built in times when most people could not read, the sculptures and stained glass windows of Chartres tell the stories of the mystery of creation, life, death, the human journey through image, color and symbol.

With this aim, we will practice Magical Passes®

— movements that bring our physical and energetic being together — and awareness exercises to help identify and begin to unwind the assumptions we hold about the concepts of masculinity and femininity. This is a pilgrimage to the ineffable — to the mystery of being itself.

The principles and practices learned in this seminar are from Carlos Castaneda, the author of twelve books on expanded consciousness and living our fullest possibilities, including The Teachings of Don Juan: A Yaqui Way of Knowledge, and The Art of Dreaming.

Chartres Cathedral

Such is the intent we find in Chartres Cathedral — one of the great spiritual, intellectual, architectural, and cultural wonders of the world, and a monument to the human question: Who are we? What is our relationship to the mystery of the divine — or as seers term it, infinity?

One of the most famous and unique aspects of the cathedral is its labyrinth

— representation of a very ancient symbolic configuration found in every culture of the world, said to depict the journey of birth and rebirth, masculine and feminine, earth and sky, body and soul. Its winding path can be compared to the alchemist’s “athanor,” or cauldron — the place where metal is “digested” and transmuted to gold, where perception shifts into a revelatory unity.

In this workshop, you will:

  • Make the journey beyond current social definitions of male or female
  • Experience the cooperative interplay between your essential feminine and masculine aspects and the spark of inspiration they create
  • Birth new strategies for your relationships
  • Share your insights and discoveries in a community of like-hearted individuals

This workshop is open to newcomers as well as seasoned practitioners.

Full participation is key. There will be a special preparatory assignment given upon registration, so please sign up early to allow plenty of time to complete.

This event will be guided by Renata Murez, Creative Co-Director of Cleargreen, Bruce Wagner, novelist, and long-time Cleargreen associate and Tensegrity practitioner, and Associate Tensegrity® Instructor Jim Morris, author of La Cartomancie des Anciens Mages, and Alice Rulde, Associate Tensegrity® Instructor. Parallel Worlds, Multiple Lives – Communing

Don Juan contended that our world, which we believe to be unique and absolute, is only one in a cluster of consecutive worlds, arranged like the layers of an onion. He asserted that even though we have been energetically conditioned to perceive solely our world, we still have the capability of entering into those other realms, which are as real, unique, absolute, and engulfing as our own world is.

– Carlos Castaneda

Through the help of this series of classes, many are finding the focus and energy necessary to perceive not only other worlds, but energetically identical human beings to themselves in these other worlds. Through such connections, such Tensegrity® practitioners have reported expanding their awareness, basic vitality, and possibilities of being.

To refresh our memory — our first class acted as an introduction to this topic, exploring the stories of those who successfully made contact with themselves in other worlds and brought elements of these other lives here.

Our second class explored the distinction between the pulls we all feel from our family bloodline – to procreate, receive certain educations, and select specific careers – and all other messages, many of which come from our parallel lives. Time was also spent stimulating non-verbal and sensorial entry to some of our other worlds.

This third class will provide a broader entry into our other lives. Bypassing our usual cognition, we will use our sense of touch, hearing, body positioning and breath to actually ‘inhabit’ some of the worlds of our parallel beings. In this way, our other selves and the environments in which they live will become closer and more accessible.

This is an online event. Date and time announced at the workshop.
Please bring a long sheet with you to this class.

Don Juan explained that the entire universe is comprised of energy fields in the form of filaments extending themselves infinitely.

He further expanded on this and said that some of those filaments go through an endless number of living creatures, joining them together. He explained this phenomenon by evoking the image of a Chinese curtain made of beads. Human beings on the same strand are energetically identical, although many have different outward appearances.

He told us that seers called such individuals parallel beings, that the line of energy connecting them extends through this world to multiple other worlds.

He maintained that the feeling of having lived before, which every one of us seems to have, is due to the fact that human beings experience other lives, which are the lives of other beings attached to the same strand. He said that the strands of energy holding human beings together extended through time and space, and that everyone had a parallel being on this earth and beyond.

*Dream-walking is a form of dreaming awake – being with your dreaming body in the waking state.  Yet it doesn’t occur when you are sitting in silence and it doesn’t necessarily entail visioning. Instead, it happens when you are walking in silence with the results of you feeling like you are moving in a dream.
